REQUIREMENT:-
Senior Telecommunication (Site) Engineer-
Qualification: - B. Tech/ B.E. (Electrical/ Electronics & Communication)
Language: - Excellent knowledge in English Language (spoken & Written)
Computer Skills: - MS office and AutoCAD
Experience: - Min 8 years experience as Project Telecom Engineer in building construction. Directly involved in supervision and inspection of telecom construction mean and methods.
Report to: - Head of Electrical Unit, Project Officers.
Consultant of: - Contractor`s Telecom Site Engineer
Liaise with: - Operations and Maintenance Department, Medical Services Directorate, Ministry of Defense.
Duties & Responsibilities:-
1. The Telecom Site Engineer shall be competent in managing site telecom works and construction operational activities, with vast knowledge in interpreting fundamental telecom design concepts and project specifications.
2. Competent inspection on the site at all times, to check and coordinate the telecom and electronic system installation works and in close monitoring and coordination with other field discipline.
3. Witness and evaluate telecom/ electronic system test results, like insulation test, performance test of equipments, functional test of installation and overall system test in accordance with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP).
4. Scrutinize and evaluate samples of the materials to be used in the site, to check if the said items conform to the approved materials by OMD Head Office.

5. Check that all materials and equipment are installed in accordance with the recommendations of each manufacturer.
6. Assess work progress and make a technical report from therein, specifying to-date accomplishments and completion, review and solutions to common electrical construction problems, acceptance of field submittals, etc
7. Review the weekly and monthly Working Plan with the Contractor.
8. Review the As-Built Drawings and Hand-Over Documents.
9. Witness the testing, commissioning, and start-up of the entire project.
