Job Description:
• Market survey
• Liaison with client / Business house.
• Attending site visit, if required
• Briefing of job to inter-department.
• Attending pre-bid meeting with client and get the technical / contractual / commercial clarification from client / consultant.
• Make arrangement of tie up with engineering agencies, if required, with the prior approval of management.
• Make arrangement of tie up with the licensors, wherever required, with the prior approval of management.
• Preparation of technical queries with the help of engineering people and send it to client for clarification.
• Preparation of contractual queries with the help of contract department and send it to client for clarification.
• Preparation of commercial queries and sends it to client for clarification.
• Preparation of document related with prequalification of the tender.
• Co ordination with in-house engineering department for obtaining BOQ.
• Scope and quantity review with engineering department.
• Preparation of budgetary enquiry for obtaining market rates.
• Follow up with vendors, clarified them and obtain the competitive price of the required commodity.
• Preparation of technical proposal.
• Preparation of complete bid for onward submission.
• Attending post bid techno-commercial meeting with client.
• Preparation of cash flow during tendering stage based on payment terms.
• Cost control.
• Forecasting of risk, Risk analysis and its mitigation.
• Cost estimation / cost analysis to optimize the quoted price.
• Review and get it approved from the management for bidding.
• Review of the bid on award of the contract and preparation of budget for onward execution.
• Preparation of data base.
• Review of the job on periodically / completion.
