Job Title

Network Architect

Relevant Experience

7 – 10 yrs

Responsibility:

• Design and Architecture of infrastructure with latest technologies to keep up with industry
• Collaborates to develop respective technical domain roadmap
• Implements road map with adherence to technology strategy including best practices
• Contributes to execution plans and executes technical infrastructure projects to upgrade or refresh supported systems
• Develops documentation including processes and procedures for consistent maintenance and support
• Develops utilities to automate repetitive tasks to reduce time of support
• Identifies and leverages best practices among Engineering staff as well as within peer teams

Skills Required

• Possesses hands-on knowledge and experience in installing / configuring / operating

• Design Enterprise Network, Implementation and Upgrades
• Familiarity with Cisco routers & switches, Nexus switches
• Configuring VPN farms, Radius, Web based SSL connections and RSA
• Configuring Cisco Wireless Access points & controllers
• Cisco Load Balancers and ACE modules
• Designing and configuring Juniper firewalls and clustering
• Familiarity with content management and convergence
• Understands vulnerabilities, follow the security bulletins, recommend, test and implement security fixes, changes in the versions and releases
• Expertise in LAN and WAN technologies to provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support
• Familiarity with tools like CiscoWorks, Concord eHealth, HP NNM
• Familiarity on using and working with Netscout probes & packet sniffers
• Familiarity in configuring QOS, rate-limits

Additional Skills

• Preferred CCNP / CCIE certification
