Position :  Lead Engineer   Telecom  -  (Min 3 Yrs offshore exp required)

Location : Chennai

Experience : 9+

JD:

Leading a team of telecom engineers for a interconnected platforms  with telecom communication requirements with respect to SCADA data, voice, PAGA, CCTV, wireless and fibre optic  requirements  or and subsea  communication cables requirement for a project in a EPC company. Must have worked as a lead at least couple of similar projects



Duties and Responsibilities
1. Review of engineering & design deliverables and philosophies to ensure compliance with contract specification and responsible for technical/functional integrity
2. Should be able to generate inputs required for telecom vendor to do his detailed engineering
3. Responsible for meeting telecom engineering deliverable schedules, man hour budgets for the project
4. Participate in Design Reviews
5. Co-ordination/interfacing with Projects, Procurement, other disciplines, fabrication, vendors and Customer , as required, during execution of the project.
6. Provide inputs related telecom scope of work for Planning and forecasting, progress reports including associated productivity
7. Should be able guide engineers assigned to the project
8. Vendor drawing review for telecom packages, providing inputs to Instrumentation group
9. Providing engineering support during fabrication, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases of the project
