The role is responsible for network design and technology innovation & Layer 0 and 1 architecture development of RGCOM network.
Responsibilities include:
1. Leading and managing the staff in preparation of high level and detailed network design and expansion plans for submarine, DWDM, SDH, synchronization topologies across the RGCOM network domain.
2. Developing and maintaining the future architecture roadmap for the network based on service development and demand to support existing and evolving service mix to Reliance Globalcom customers.
3. Developing plans to grow the network to meet evolving service requirements, working closely with Sales to understand sales/services trends.
4. Support strategic analysis and forward view of technology evolution and its impact on RGCOM network.
The candidate shall validate and engineer / re-engineer solutions designed by sales engineering support and other technical support organizations ensuring adherence to standardization of any refinement and enhancements deployed on RGCOM network infrastructure and ensure the network capability meets engineering, product and operational requirements .
