Top CEO’s often complain about younger workers, so-called
millennials.
Most common complaints: Their career expectations are too
high, they prefer emails to face-to-face communication, and the number
one gripe: They’re always on their phones, texting and tweeting!
So here’s some advice for millennials.
Don’t jump from job to job. In most careers, it looks terrible on your resume to change jobs every year. It’s a real red flag.
Also, work emails are fine, but they’re not enough. Millennials
need to understand that business gets done in person and on the phone.
If you want to date online, go ahead, but don’t live your work-life
online.
And millennials need to learn they have to prove themselves as
valuable employees. And one of the best ways to do that: Show up for
work on time. Coming in late, or leaving early, that’s a clear sign you
don’t respect your job, your boss, or your co-workers.
